My Little Scientist is an elementary book series based on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) that teaches social-emotional skills.
The first book in this series is titled " I, Matter" With so many other siblings Aubrey often feels overlooked, neglected and invisible. She starts to wonder if she really matters to her family.
Aubrey gains self-awareness as she learns about the phases of matter in her lab. Aubrey's lab is a safe haven where she conducts experiments and research. Eventually, Aubrey realizes that she is loved and how important her role as a big sister is.
